Milton Keynes Lacrosse Club

We are Milton Keynes Lacrosse Club, a welcoming, competitive club with men’s and women’s teams serving players across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. We run structured training for all abilities, from beginners picking up a stick for the first time to experienced players competing in league fixtures. Our men’s and women’s squads train weekly, play regular matches, and are supported by committed coaches and volunteers. We also pride ourselves on strong club values, clear rules, and an inclusive culture that makes lacrosse accessible and enjoyable.

Support Sport Lottery funding is helping us grow sustainably and improve the player experience. We are using funds to secure reliable training facilities year‑round, including 3G/4G and indoor hall time through winter, so our sessions aren’t disrupted by weather or pitch availability. We are investing in coaching and officiating development—covering qualifications, safeguarding, and first aid—so we can deliver safe, high‑quality training and strengthen our pathway from beginner to competitive lacrosse.

We are also upgrading essential shared equipment and expanding outreach. Lottery income is paying for goals, nets, balls, loan sticks, protective kit, and pitch‑side storage to keep costs down for members and support newcomers at taster sessions. We are running open days and targeted beginner blocks, including women’s and mixed introductory sessions, supported by simple marketing to reach local schools, universities, and community groups. To keep our club accessible, we have set aside a small hardship fund and modest travel support, helping players get to fixtures and stay involved throughout the season.
